On Air China's Korean website, you can check seat availability and ticket prices real-time just as you do at Air China’s reservations and ticketing desk. However, seat availability and ticket prices may change at any time before registration is completed. Because a special rate is applied to tickets purchased on the Korean website, which differ in price from standard tickets, a separate policy is applied to the rebooking fees and refund fees.

 

Purchases through the Korean website can be made without an ID and a password. The purchases by special prices on the website are only available if payment is made when the reservation is completed. The refunds and modification of tickets purchased on the website are processed in accordance with the reservation terms and refund policies. Requests for refunds can be directly applied on the website on "Website e-Tickets Refunds" under “Customer Service” on the upper right corner.

Reservation

Six steps for online reservation

1. Search for airfares by origin, destination, departure date
   You can search for a one way or round trip reservation by clicking Departure, Arrival and Departure Date in the main screen of Air China's Korean website. When searching for three or more flight schedules (including surface sectors), you may directly enter the airport code and search by using the “Multiple Routes Search” under the “Reservations” menu. A website reservation can be made for up to four passengers for flights departing no earlier than 12 hours and no later than 6 months from the time of reservation. Purchases of tickets for infants or toddlers without adult accompaniments are not possible.

2. Search for and select airfare
   Select airfare of your choice from the displayed price ranges
   
   
   



3. Airfare type and review of purchase terms
   
   The fare you want to purchase and the review of the total fare when you make a reservations or a request for a refund. Search for your flight after selecting the desired price pattern. Because the airfare is applied at the time of purchase, it is not possible to change the airfare for the same trip later. Even if the airfare changes, the difference is not charged or refunded. When no seating is available for the same price, no price is available when you make a reservation for the second time, or the original trip plan is changed, the price will be readjusted and there may be a difference in the prices.
   
   * If you want a direct route, please make sure you select “0 stop”. If you travel to the third country via China, please verify requirements for a stopover visa before making a purchase. TWOV of China is different from other airports; SHA allows 48 hours of stay, PEK, CTU, and TAO allow 24 hours of stay, and WEH and HGH do not allow any stay.
   
   
   
   
   



4. Entering traveler’s information
   There are three steps to entering a traveler’s information. Enter accurate contact information and email address, name in English as it appears in the passport (in the format ‘Last Name, First Name’), and passport information (or travel certificate and ID information). Especially for trips to the United States, in accordance with the United States Customs & Immigration authorities, please list not only your passport information, but also the destination address and post box number accurately, as airline companies must provide passengers’ information before the passengers enter the country.
   
   
   
5. Purchase
   Please confirm the date of departure for the reserved flight, time, purchase terms and conditions, and name(s) of passenger(s) one more time, and pay with one of Korea’s 15 types of domestic credit cards, MasterCard, Visa, or a JCB card allowing foreign payment transactions.
   
   Note: When you use a credit card with the BC logo, please select BC card type when selecting a card for payment, and then proceed to pay.

6. Completion of reservation and purchase
   Once the payment is completed, you will receive a confirmation email that contains your reservation number for the airline’s use, a detailed flight schedule, and payment details. Once the ticketing process is completed, you will receive another email that contains your electronic ticket. If you don't receive the ticket via email once the credit card approval processing is completed, please call us for confirmation.
   
   

→ Caution when making a reservation:
Tickets for online reservations are specially priced, and may differ from standard tickets (tickets purchased from travel agents or the airline company) in price and the applied policies and terms of use. Changes to your reservation can be made through any of Air China’s regional branches, if applicable. However, changes can only be made within the booking class with the same price as your original reservation. When no seating is available for that booking class, additional charges may be incurred. Tickets to Southeast Asia, Europe, Oceania and the United States have strict terms of purchase and use, and their booking modifications and refund charges are much higher than those of Korea-China flights; therefore, we advise you to carefully read and consider the terms of purchase when making your reservations. Before making a purchase, please check the visa requirements for your transit and destination countries, and make sure that your flight schedule provides ample transfer time (at least three hours when using Beijing Airport) as your transit airport.
